The Centennial Hall was built in the years 1911-1913 as designed by Max Berg. The Hall is an example of expressionist architecture and currently it is used as a sports and entertainment centre.
The Hall is located in Wrocław, in the district of Śródmieście. It was also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006. Tourists can also visit Pergola with the Multimedia Fountain and the Japanese Garden, both situated just next to the Hall.
The Racławice Panorama is an art museum established in 1980 in Wrocław. It is the museum with a piece of art that is one of a kind.
The Racławice Panorama depicts an artistic vision of the battle of Racławice. The painting shows some historical figures who fought in the battle. The painting is monumental – 15 metres high and 114 metres long. Thanks to unusual perspective and lighting the viewer can feel like as if being in the middle of a real battle
Sky Tower was built in 2012. Currently it is the tallest building in Poland. It is 212 metres tall. The skyscraper is a residential, office, shopping, service and leisure complex.
Its primary attraction that emphasizes unique character of the skyscraper is an observation deck located on 49th floor. The panorama of Wrocław and its surroundings that stretches beyond the windows is definitely worth the trouble.
The Wrocław Zoo is located at Wróblewskiego Street. The Zoo was founded in 1865. It is the oldest and the largest Zoological Garden in Poland and covers total area of 33 hectares.
The animals come from many continents and include representatives of 900 species. In October 2014 the Zoo opened its brand new Afrykarium – a pavilion with huge aquariums being home to animals living in aqueous environment of the Dark Continent.
