Green Key is a prestigious international eco-certification that confirms a property’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. It is one of the most respected awards in the field of responsible and conscious tourism, granted to hotels and tourism facilities that meet strict environmental standards, implement responsible management practices, and introduce eco-friendly solutions.

For us, Green Key is more than a prestigious environmental certification. It is a commitment to responsible resource management and to creating spaces that are both welcoming for our Guests and respectful of the natural environment.
The first property to receive the Green Key certification was Qubus Hotel Katowice. The hotel was awarded the certification for the first time in March 2025, marking the beginning of the implementation of Green Key standards across the Qubus Hotel chain. Subsequently, the following hotels joined the ranks of certified properties:
In 2026, these hotels successfully renewed their Green Key certification, confirming that they continue to meet the high standards required in environmental responsibility, efficient resource management, and sustainable operational practices.
Our chain is constantly expanding – further certifications are planned for 2026. Qubus Hotel Krakow, Qubus Hotel Gdansk, Qubus Hotel Bielsko-Biala and Qubus Hotel Zory have joined the group of four hotels.
Further Qubus Hotel properties are consistently implementing solutions that support sustainable development, improving their operations and preparing for the Green Key certification process.
We are phasing out single-use plastic bottles in favour of filtered water served in glass carafes. Filtered water dispensers are available throughout our hotels, providing Guests with easy access to fresh drinking water at any time of the day.
We are committed to responsible waste management and recycling in our public areas. We also work closely with local suppliers, supporting shorter supply chains and a more sustainable approach to business operations. During hotel breakfasts, our Guests can enjoy high-quality regional produce.
We manage natural resources responsibly by reducing water and energy consumption. Guest rooms are cleaned every three days or upon request and towels are replaced only at the Guest’s request. We also use biodegradable cleaning products in our daily operations, helping to reduce the use of harsh chemicals.
Through our initiatives, we educate and engage both our employees and our Guests, encouraging environmentally responsible attitudes and everyday sustainable practices.
