Heading to the Open’er Festival 2026 in Gdynia? Be sure to check out what’s in store! We have the lineup, ticket prices, and details on how to get to the concerts. We also know where to stay during the Open’er Festival.
The Open’er Festival currently takes place in Gdynia. However, this was not always the case. The first edition was held in Warsaw; the event was not yet as extensive and lasted only a single day. Subsequent editions were organized in Gdansk. For the past few years, the festival has been held at the Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport (formerly known as Babie Doly Airport).
As happens every year, major stars will be appearing in Gdynia—and there are quite a few of them! It comes as no surprise, given that the event will span four days, from July 1 to 4, 2026. What does the Open’er organizer have in store for the 2026 lineup? The event will feature acts such as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Cure, David Byrne, The xx, and Calvin Harris. We are still awaiting the announcement of the Polish stars set to perform at the upcoming edition of the festival.
A full 4-day pass for Open’er Festival 2026 costs 1,149 PLN. If you are interested in staying at the campsite, you can purchase a ticket that includes this option; the cost is then 1,419 PLN. Weekend passes are also available, costing 829 PLN (concert admission only) and 1,019 PLN (including camping). The most affordable option is a single-day ticket, priced at 549 PLN. A VIP option is also available, offering numerous amenities such as a dedicated festival entrance, concert seating, a free cloakroom, and electronic device charging stations. To find out the price for this option, please contact the Open’er Festival organizers directly.
There are plenty of options. While a large number of attendees stay at the campsite, many opt for greater comfort and look for accommodation in private rooms or nearby guesthouses. For the more discerning Open’er Festival-goer, we have something special: luxury rooms at the Qubus Hotel Gdansk. Thanks to our central location, it is a great opportunity to see a bit more of the city—such as the Old Town, Neptune’s Fountain, or Artus Court. You can find more of our recommended attractions in the article “What to See in Gdansk?”—we encourage you to read it. Even if you don’t plan on sightseeing during your stay in the Tricity, our comfortable rooms are an excellent choice, especially if you are attending the Open’er Festival with children.
We offer more than just guest rooms. We serve a delicious breakfast featuring a selection of 100 items—a meal highly praised by our guests. We also recommend the restaurant at Qubus Hotel Gdansk, where we serve exquisite dishes inspired by global flavors as well as creations made from local ingredients. Additional amenities include parking and a pet-friendly policy. Guests can also enjoy a Finnish sauna and a fitness center, while our youngest visitors have access to a playroom equipped with an Xbox, among other things. We particularly recommend a cruise on the Motlawa River aboard the Q-Boat; seeing Gdansk from this perspective is truly captivating!
Even though the Open’er Festival itself takes place in Gdynia, staying in Gdansk is still a great idea. The Tricity area boasts excellent transport connections. How do you get to the Open’er Festival if you’re staying in Gdansk? If you have a car, it’s straightforward; the organizers provide an unattended parking lot on-site (near the Kosakowo entrance), as well as designated areas for parking bicycles and scooters. However, if you prefer public transport, you can take a train to the area and then switch to a city bus—such as line 109. The journey from Gdansk to Open’er takes about an hour. The organizers also offer a free shuttle bus service; it departs from near the Gdynia Main Railway Station and runs back and forth every 10–15 minutes. All you need to use this service is a festival ticket. If you plan to stay in Gdansk during the Open’er Festival, we warmly invite you to stay with us!
